Liam Hemsworth to Star in ‘Aurora Rising’

Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games) will star in the action movie Aurora Rising, it was announced Monday by Relativity Media, which will distribute.
Aurora Rising is about a Southern California surfer who becomes a fighter pilot and after a messy combat mission, is recruited to be part of an elite team to test a new generation of aircraft just as an international conflict begins.
Based on a screenplay by Christian Gudegast (A Man Apart), it is being produced by Alexandra Milchan’s Emjag Productions, Scott Lambert’s Film 360 and Relativity Media CEO Ryan Kavanaugh. Antonio Moura Santos Jr. is executive producer.
Relativity is scheduled to release the espionage thrillerParanoia, which also stars Hemsworth, on Aug. 16.
Hemsworth is represented by ROAR and WME, who negotiated his deal along with Morris and Yorn.

Farrah Abraham is heading for solo stardom.
After sharing the spotlight with her fellow Teen Moms and then making the sort of feature that usually needs another person to, er, work, the former MTV star has signed a deal to shoot her own reality show.
“Get ready for better TV 
The News Is True,” Farrah tweeted today along with a link to a Starcasm story announcing her new venture.
“MAJOR NEWS!! Spinboi Films has signed Teen Mom Farrah Abraham to develop a new reality docu-soap! TV magic coming soon!” Spinboi posted on its Facebook Page.
The New York-based production company also tweeted to its new leading lady this morning, “@F1abraham Such a pleasure meeting with you today…you’re a star!!! @GRMediaFirm.”
So, apparently it didn’t take long to realize that they wanted to make TV magic together.
While the production deal indicates that they intend to get the cameras rolling on Farrah’s life as 21-year-old mom of 3-year-old Sophia, it remains to be seen if a network shows interest.
